I already had a number of gold and white edges from KEATS and was looking for shark’s teeth from DARK WONDER. It was unbelievable good luck when OUTRAGEOUS FORTUNE bloomed. Here was my first dark red with gold beads and knobs on both the petals and petaloids. What a flower! OUTRAGEOUS FORTUNE also presents its large beautiful flowers on tall well-branched scapes with excellent plant habit. Outrageous. Fertile both ways. Early morning opener. Fragrant.
