Daylily Glazed
Porcelain Truffle Description: Glazed
Porcelain Truffle introduced by D. Kirchhoff in 2000. 5 ½"-6 inch blooms on
28 inch scapes. "This double seems delicate and crisp and is reminiscent of
our classic daylily introduction, MING PORCELAIN. The color is a smooth and
a bright baby-ribbon to shell pink self with yellow to green at the throat.
The texture shines like diamond dusted porcelain, and the sunfast blossoms
are elegant and refined all day and all season long. The form is formal and
tailored with framed inner petaloids edged in wide, looping ruffles. The
constantly emerging scapes have three way branching with 18-25 buds." Very
fertile pods and pollen. Extended bloomer. Fragrant. Semi-evergreen. 97%
double. Honorable Mention 2005.
