Gentle Shepherd Gentle Shepherd introduced by Yancy in 1980. 5 inch blooms on 29 inch scapes. Lightly ruffled. Diamond dusted, One of the first true white of the white daylilies. A breakthrough for breeding white daylilies. Blooms Early Mid season. Fragrant. Semi-evergreen. Honorable Mention 1984. Award of Merit 1987. Diploid.  To Order: Click Here

Gilded Rose Daylily Gilded Rose Stamile 1995. 6 inch blooms on 24 inch scapes. Rose pink self with gold edge and deep forest green throat Extended blooms.  Fragrant. Tetraploid. Dormant. Blooms mid season. Repeat Bloomer To Order: Click Here

Glazed Porcelain Truffle Glazed Porcelain Truffle introduced by D. Kirchhoff in 2000. 5 ½"-6 inch blooms on 28 inch scapes. "This double seems delicate and crisp and is reminiscent of our classic daylily introduction, MING PORCELAIN. The color is a smooth and a bright baby-ribbon to shell pink self with yellow to green at the throat. The texture shines like diamond dusted porcelain, and the sunfast blossoms are elegant and refined all day and all season long. The form is formal and tailored with framed inner petaloids edged in wide, looping ruffles. The constantly emerging scapes have three way branching with 18-25 buds." Very fertile pods and pollen. Blooms Extra Early. Reblooms. Extended bloomer. Fragrant. Semi-evergreen. 97% double. Honorable Mention 2005.  To Order: Click Here

Great White Great White introduced by P. Stamile in 1999. 6¼ inch blooms on 28 inch scapes.  5 - 6 way branching. 30 - 35 buds. "GREAT WHITE gets its name because overall it has the greatest concentration of desirable characteristics. First, the plant is large and husky and has excellent proportion with outstanding scape to foliage balance. Well branched scapes carry up to 35 buds without ever crowding the very large 6¼" flowers. The flowers are large, wide, full and flat with edges deeply ruffled and gathered in gold. Of all my whites it was GREAT WHITE I took into my pinks. GREAT WHITE crossed into the pinks helped clarify even the best of the pinks. Moreover, on pinks with a wire gold edge it produced outstanding gold edged pinks. As a white breeder GREAT WHITE has been superb for getting outstanding plant habits into my whites. More than a great white, this is destined to be a great daylily." Easily fertile both ways. Blooms Early Mid season. Reblooms Evergreen. Fragrant Early morning opener. Fragrant. Tetraploid. Honorable Mention 2003.  To Order: Click Here

Happy Returns Happy Returns introduced by Apps in 1986. 3.125 inch fragrant blooms on 18 inch scapes. Ruffled lemon yellow flowers. This is our favorite small yellow and it is great for containers. Extra early. Very recurrent bloomer. This daylily has Stella in its background so that must be what gives it's non stop bloom; however, it is so much better than Stella. Dormant. Diploid. Honorable Mention 1992. To Order: Click Here

Hollywood Lights Hollywood Lights introduced by Dan Trimmer in 1999. 5½ inch blooms on 24 inch scapes. "HOLLYWOOD LIGHTS begins blooming with a very large bright gold edge around a dark lavender flower as pictured; however, on rebloom the gold edge becomes much larger and here in Florida the scapes just keep coming and coming. First scapes bloom just above the foliage with bud counts that range from 35 to a high of 55 blooms per scape. Just like ENCHANTED APRIL, HOLLYWOOD LIGHTS should have a slightly taller scape to carry all of its buds, but I’m happy to have huge bud counts. HOLLYWOOD LIGHTS is fertile, and an excellent grower and increaser. I’m happy to bring the gold edged breeding of Brother Charles (through ENCHANTED APRIL) into the gold edged arena for two very important reasons, extremely high bud count and sun fastness. Although not a perfectly circular flower, HOLLYWOOD LIGHTS has produced offspring that are as circular as anything in my program." Semi-evergreen. Blooms Mid season. Reblooms. Tetraploid. Honorable Mention 2004. To Order: Click Here

Hurricane Swirls Hurricane Swirls introduced by P. Stamile in 2006. 6" x 3" x 2 inch blooms on 36 inch scapes. " 5-way branching. 35-40 buds. Angel wings. "This was hands down the visitors’ favorite this year. Folks flocked around it marveling at the way the angel wings swirled the color of the edge, which can either be gold or more usually white, onto the surface of the flower. The entire flower was swirled with either gold or white. Unfortunately, what the visitors did not see was that after several weeks the flowers settled down to a very pleasant purple with a gold or white edge, right up to the rebloom. When rebloom came, HURRICANE SWIRLS again showed its namesake "hurricane swirls" for the first half of the blooms. An amazing flower which consistently shows this swirling angel wings every year but only on the first half of the blooms, but is none the less a very pretty flower in any form it shows." Easily fertile both ways.  Blooms Mid season. Reblooms. Fragrant. Evergreen. Early morning opener. Tetraploid.  To Order: Click Here

Iddy Bidy Gal Idy Bidy Gal introduced by G. Stamile in 1999. 2½ inch blooms on 12 inch scapes. A coral pink blend with a lighter edge. Blooms Repeat Bloomer. Blooms Mid Season. Diploid. Semi-evergreen. Honorable Mention 2003. To Order: Click Here

Jolly Red Giant Jolly Red Giant introduced by P. Stamile in 1999. 8" x 2 ¼" x 1 ½ inch blooms on 68 inch scapes. 6 way branching. 56 buds. Unusual Form - pinched and twisted crispate. "I dislike writing in superlatives such as the most ruffled, the heaviest substance, etc. since it presumes the writer knows the entire world of daylilies. In growing daylilies for 20+ years including the species Altissima and the Challenger hybrids, I can say that I have never seen a daylily as tall as JOLLY RED GIANT. JOLLY RED GIANT towers over mere 5’ tall Altissima and Challenger hybrids and at 5’8" can be used in place of a small shrub or tree. This is truly a fun flower for those who want bragging rights for the "tallest". Being evergreen it may not grow as tall in the North but here in the South the first scapes bloom at 68" and rebloom just shy of 6’. Very strong well branched erect scapes." Pod sterile but pollen fertile. Blooms Early. Reblooms  Very slight fragrance. Evergreen. Tetraploid.  To Order: Click Here

Judy Farquhar Judy Farquhar introduced by P. Stamile in 2006. 7 ½" x 4 1/8" x 2 ¼" inch blooms on 34 inch scapes. 4-way branching. 20 buds. Angel wings. "Like them big? Our friend Judy Farquhar does and she picked this beauty to be named for her. As one of our largest flowers, I have measured first blooms at 8 ½" and petals at over 5" in width. Each petal was bigger than a lot of daylilies. The flowers start the season as a peach pink but slowly the peach shade mutates more into a spun sugar pink. Huge 1 - 1½" angel wings are characteristic of JUDY. The form is exceptionally flat with little to no flaring or re-curve. The substance is excellent. The scapes are strong, erect and branched. As a parent it produces exceptionally large flowers – some with horns and tentacles to 1" in length and many with angel wings. An absolutely phenomenal flower." Fertile both ways. Blooms Mid season. Reblooms. Early morning opener. extended blooms. Very Fragrant. Evergreen. Tetraploid.  To Order: Click Here
