Daylily Fire Agate Description: Fire Agate
introduced by P. Stamile in 2006. 6" x 3" x 2" blooms on 23 inch scapes.
5-way branching. 25-30 buds. 85% double. Our largest flower in this color,
FIRE AGATE gets its red color and white edge from FLAMENCO CHRISTMAS and its
size from Tetra PINK ENDEARMENT. It is quite an imposing flower with its
large size and heavy substance. The flowers are very fancy for a double in
this color. Petals and petaloids are quite ruffled and edged in white.
Substance is excellent and the throat is a deep grass green. Very different
genetics for the breeder and a very different flower for the gardener.
Fertile both ways. Blooms Mid season. Early morning opener.
