Daylily
Dixie Blues Description: Dixie
Blues introduced by G. Stamile in 2004. DIXIE BLUES is one of those flowers
that change the whole palette of color in the garden. A patch of DIXIE BLUES
creates a "blue" cast over the entire area that it is in. Most daylilies
from a distance give you the effect of "yellow" because of the buds, backs
of the flowers, throats, etc. The effect of DIXIE BLUES is to wash the
garden in blue. This should be a fabulous flower to landscape with
especially for those working in pinks and blues. Fertile both ways. 30 plus
buds. Blooms Early. Reblooms. |
